Happy Holidays

MERRY X'MAS EVERYONE! =)

Its the time of the year again, the time where two of the most major festive seasons come one after another in a matter of days. And the time where as we rejoice and have fun, we are lamenting for the past year that always doesn't seem to be well lived and where we always tell ourselves next year will be better and cross our fingers and hope for the best. A time whereby mixed emotions are a plenty and not necessarily bad cause every once in a while, some reflection is needed in order for us to continue in life. Just as they always say in chinese, 'To rest is to aid moving on further ahead'.

The sole reason why I'm bringing this post ahead and doing it now is just cause I'm leaving for Thailand in like 1 day time and by the time I come back, I would have missed the timing for this post. Anyway, its 6 more days till we bade 2010 goodbye be it we want to or not. To me, this year haven't been exactly what one would say eventful but I would say its insightful. 2010 has brought my thinking to a new level and exposed me to things I never saw and never knew allowing me to view things in a different light thereafter. A-levels though draining has allowed me know what I've been fighting for all this while and as I walk through this year in memory I realised I have matured much more than I expected. I guess that's why they always say time is the best teacher. But I supposed experience ain't too bad a teacher either for if we had not went through all the things we did, we might not have saw the light that time was trying to show us all along. And I suppose everything happened for a reason and I guess its just not about not whining and lamenting but knowing how to move on after all the grumblings.

Look back at year 2010 and see it as the last day of the year and what is it that you would really like to say to it. I don't know just cause there so much I would like to say but I'll have to say for sure that I never regret going through all the turbulence that we went through for ain't all routes in life filled with rocky and smooth paths all the same. Whoever say rocky paths will be hard to travel and smooth paths would be easy.
