I don't really know why but somehow this 4/2 chalet this time around felt different, compared to the previous chalet we had, I somehow got the feeling that this one was more cosy, more lighthearted, more together and it just made me miss the days when we were together studying as a class all the more. It might just be me but I have a feeling that this time around, everyone who turned up has changed somehow and the period of time that we were apart from each other as a whole class has one way or another made a very remarkable change. Its just something beyond the superficial description of words but more of a warmer and cosier feeling deep down inside. All I can say is that this time around when leaving the chalet and saying all the goodbyes, I have a subtle feeling of emptiness inside as compared to the feeling of wanting to go home and just sleep.
Anyway this chalet though shorter than usual cos we checked out on the second night seriously is as much fun packed or ever more fun than any other chalet I have went to. BBQ in the first night, and the game of werewolf we locked ourselves in the small room playing was just as fabulous and happening as it can be, oh and yes not forgetting the X'mas gift exchange that we have as a tradition. Cycling in the dead middle of the night, trying to figure out just where to go next and whining about our butt aches, stopping by at Macs to eat and just sit around enjoying the dead silence in the night just enjoying each others' company, going to the playground to play on the swings relieving our childhood (and yes, a really embarrassing moment of mine in secondary school was dug up too) and more sitting around before going back to the chalet at like 5plus. Those who needed sleep just went flopping into the bed almost immediately but for those who bathed like me just sat outside sitting around talking and from the dark night to daylight, the transition got many secrets out and all the talk about life and relationships was just so much fun and yes it really got us to know each other better. I supposed everyone got a couple of hours of sleep before we all popped up at subway to have lunch and back to the chalet we went to yet more rounds of indian poker and werewolf which got more talking going one and its just all this simple things that really reignited the bond between us all. After which is the steamboat where everyone just sat around eating and talking again about the past and just about everything under the sun. Played Circle of Death next and no doubt it was a cool game but not something one would like to play everyday especially when the loser gets to 'savour' a custom made concoction of raw egg, chocolate biscuit and marshmallows. Well after that was just packing up and going home and time for spewing all the goodbyes and off we went on our own routes not knowing when but wishing I guess that our next time together will not be too long later.
To the class that was most fabulous once and will forever be, good luck to all the guys going into NS and all the best to the rest in whatever everyone will embark on next. Thank you all for the amazing 2 days we had and really just thank you guys for still being so fabulous. =)
