food for thought!

This very very simple question gets everyone stumped for at least up to 30 secs eh, or at least for a while. Well not surprising because as we learnt from the economics A-levels syllabus, we humans have unlimited wants and desires, so of course being true to the human nature, its no doubt that a thousand and one things will flash through our minds and of course at different points in our lives, the answer to this question will change.

So say you have unlimited amount of time to think about this and there is only this one thing you can do with a 100% guarantee to success, what would this one thing be?" Think hard, cos who knows, it might just be the start of our majestic life long plan that will direct our future routes.

Never thought how life-changing one such seemingly simple question will be? Well think again and think hard, you'll someday see that its always the things that we deem as the simplest and most insignificant in life that really makes an impact.

stubbornness

Why is one's habit or likes so hard to get over? I have all the while since young been in the know that I am kind of lactose intolerant and that drinking milk or any of the likes like coconut milk will get me running to the toilet for at least 3 or 4 times shortly after I consume the milk. With this in mind, some people would have stayed off milk for like their entire life, but well thats just not the case for me. I've always had this thing for milk and milk related stuffs and I just cannot stay away from it. So well I just always repeat the routine of being in pain and running away to the toilet after drinking but yet I never learnt my lesson. Sigh, I guess I can never get over this like so well for now I'll just make sure before I drink milk, I shall make sure there a clean toilet in the near proximity available for use. Tsk, my ramdom rantings are starting again =)

a trip down memory lane

Went walking around sheng shiong just now and though it isn't the most preferred supermarket one would like to visit cos its just like a wet market with aircon and everything, but well it wasn't such a bad experience. Because there were just so many things sold there that reminds one of their childhood provided you are in my generation. It like some of the things there can only be found in the childhood memories of ours so it was like pretty cool cause you get to go around and exclaim "OMG they still sell this" which is like much fun. =)

Man suddenly I feel so old cause its like old people like to go "想当年" which is what I am doing now. Oh well, back to Econs. =)

food and more food

Just came back from a super late night and sinful supper with my family and I just finished bathing and so here I am. :) anyway in case anyone's curious, we just went for prata cause my siblings were grumbling that they were hungry.

Anyway this can of tuna is here cause eversince I found out that I have a bottle of thousand island in my fridge, I have been having a nagging craving for tuna. So since I cannot get it now, I shall just look at its picture to temporary satisfy my craving. Anyway I am pretty sure sooner or later someone in my family will buy tuna home just to use up the thousand island so well I shall continue waiting. :)

Yes We Can!

Seems like a lazy day so trying to motivate myself with this. Anyone who pops by hopefully you do get motivated as well. At least even a glimspe of motivation would help it serve its purpose. So yeah lets just put our best foot in and do it for the satisfaction after doing it and not just cause you wanna outdo anyone or anything. Its always just us we have to beat then we are winners already. :)

revamped!

Something struck a chord in me and I heard a voice inside me head going "Its time to change the design of the blog." So yeah here I am and I've changed it. Nothing impressive but still I think its a good change. I guess its good to move away from my usual oh-so-gloomy blogs of neutral colours. So I thought orange would be nice since I kind of like the colour, bright yet soothing in a sense. Changed my blog description as well just cause I feel its quite a meaningful philosophy to live by. Anyway I don't really get why am I rationalising my every change and action here but I just felt like writing about it.

Finished 6 out of 9 papers for my A-levels and that's the best thing that has ever happened in such a long time. 3 more paper to go and its less hectic just cause its spread over like two weeks plus. Anyway the worst is over and I am really thankful for that. Can't wait to enjoy my already packed with activities december! But for now, I'm going to have to finish up my econs for tmr's consultation so I shall end here. :)

PS: realised my blog has been rather wordy so I am going to cut down on words and put more pictures and maybe I will try shorter posts :) just a random thought
